Role Overview:

As the Lead Developer Advocate at Pynt, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our user base by building and nurturing relationships with developers, technical influencers, and key community members. You will combine your technical expertise, product knowledge, and marketing skills to advocate for our API security testing platform and drive adoption among developers. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to Pynt's growth and establish our position as a leader in the API security space.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive developer relations strategy to drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, technical influencers, and key community members.
• Advocate for Pynt's API security testing platform, showcasing its value proposition and benefits to the developer community.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management and Marketing, to align developer needs with product enhancements and marketing initiatives.
• Create and deliver compelling technical content, such as blog posts, tutorials, and videos, to educate and engage developers.
• Represent Pynt at industry conferences, events, and meetups, raising awareness and promoting our brand.
• Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in API security and developer relations.
• Measure and report on the success of developer relations initiatives, providing insights to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in Developer Relations, Developer Advocate, or similar role - must.
• Strong technical background and understanding of APIs, cybersecurity, and developer workflows - must.
• Product knowledge and ability to effectively communicate the value proposition of a technical product to developers.
• Marketing skills to effectively position and promote Pynt's API security testing platform to a technical audience.
• Proven ability to build and nurture developer communities and drive user acquisition.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
• Flexibility to travel occasionally for conferences and events.
